symbol - Returns the name of a element given its atomic number

SYNOPSIS

#include <nuclib.h>

char *symbol(int z);

Link with -lnuclib.

DESCRIPTION

The symbol() function returns the name of a element, given its atomic number (up to Z=118), as defined by the UIPAC standard.

z

Atomic number of element

RETURN VALUE

The function returns the value described, " " in case the atomic number is > 118.
